Missed trip to New York

About 6 months ago I had an unexpected phone call asking me if I'd knit cardigans for Shetland ponies. I laughed at this crazy idea, and suggested he ask someone with a knitting machine as it was far too big a project for me to tackle. Doreen Brown, a very talented designer based in Shetland, knitted two beautiful cardigans. Now she's off to to New York to take part in the Tartan Parade on 6 April.

I hope she, and the Vikings from Shetland, have a great time there and win many fans.
