Benniegio Cardigan Knitting Pattern
Most of the cardigan is knitted in Double Knitting yarn; only the yoke is knitted in Spindrift jumperweight yarn. The rib pattern is continued up through the body, to give a little shaping to the waist, and in the sleeves. The cardigan is knitted in the round, with a steek at the centre front. Between the start of the arm opening and the start of the yoke 2 steeks are added to continue working in the round. The back neck is heightened by working extra rows between arm opening and the start of the yoke. There are no short rows.
You can see the cardigan being worn, and yokes being discussed, towards the end of Fruity Knitting Podcast 87
