50 tips from Shetland Knitters
Whenever I do a workshop I can usually predict many of the questions. They usually start with "will you show me how you ....". Generally I can show only 2 or 3 people at a time and, in a workshop, I always have to be careful that one person does not take all my attention. Elizabeth finds the same so our answer was to make this 2-set DVD of knitting tips, giving knitters the opportunity to watch as many times as they need to understand what they are being shown.
The DVD was launched at Shetland Textile Museum on 31 August and is on sale in Shetland shops - so far the stockists with on-line ordering are The Shetland Museum, The Shetland Times Bookshop, and Jamieson & Smith.
The DVD price is GBP25, and the download from Vimeo is USD30.

Shetland is the most northerly group of Scottish islands. Apart from mainland Scotland, the other near neighbours are Norway to the east and the Faroe Islands to the north west.
